Operator and scope

Orderly Class LLC, 4846 Old Windthorst Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310 operates OrderlyClass and the connected OrderlyClass educational applications covered by this policy. Questions and requests may be sent to support@orderlyclass.com.

OrderlyClass is currently offered in Texas for school-directed educational use. High schools are the initial focus, but school-directed accounts may eventually include children under 13. A signed district agreement controls if it provides additional or stronger protections.

School-directed services

OrderlyClass processes school data only to provide services selected and directed by an authorized school or district. Schools and districts retain ownership and control of school data. OrderlyClass acts as a service provider and receives only the limited right to process that data to operate, secure, support, and improve the district-directed service.

OrderlyClass does not sell student data, use it for targeted advertising, build commercial student profiles, or use school data to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.

Information we process

Depending on the features enabled by a school or district, OrderlyClass may process:

  • Account and security information, including names, usernames, school email addresses, password hashes, sessions, authentication factors, and audit records.
  • School, campus, course, class period, school-year, roster, enrollment, and calendar information.
  • Teacher-created plans, curriculum notes, TEKS selections, objectives, assignments, classroom events, attendance, bell ringers, and student submissions.
  • Optional information such as student photographs, support indicators, guardian contact information, certification records, course requests, and instructional notes when the district enables those features.
  • Technical and operational information such as browser and device characteristics, request identifiers, limited network information, security events, service logs, email-delivery information, and backup records.
  • Support requests and information a user chooses to provide when asking for assistance or reporting a problem.

Sources and purposes

Information may come from an authorized school or district, an educator or administrator, a district import such as Skyward, a student using a school-issued account or class code, a connected OrderlyClass application, or the service itself when it creates security and operational records.

We use information for authentication, account and roster administration, teacher-directed instruction, district-enabled student support, service delivery, security, troubleshooting, support, legal compliance, and genuinely de-identified or aggregated analysis used to improve reliability and educational functionality.

Artificial intelligence and connected applications

Current planning tools create prompts that a teacher may copy and paste into a separately selected AI service. Copying a prompt does not send it to an AI provider through OrderlyClass, and that outside provider is governed by its own terms and the district’s rules. Teachers should not place student-identifying or sensitive information into an outside AI service unless the district has specifically approved that use.

A future direct AI integration will remain off unless it is reviewed and affirmatively activated for the school or district. Connected OrderlyClass applications are covered by this policy when they use the shared OrderlyClass account, course, roster, or school data systems. A district controls which connected applications are available to its classes.

When information is disclosed

Information may be disclosed to authorized school users, connected OrderlyClass applications enabled for the class or district, and service providers that support hosting, transactional email, abuse prevention, security, backups, and technical operations. Those providers may use school data only to provide the approved service and must be subject to appropriate privacy and security restrictions.

We may disclose information when directed by the school or district, when required by law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or others. We do not disclose student data for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.

Students, children, FERPA, and COPPA

District-managed student access is based on school or district authorization, not a child accepting commercial terms. Schools determine whether OrderlyClass is appropriate for their educational use and are responsible for notices or permissions required from parents or guardians.

When a school relies on OrderlyClass as a school official or outsourced educational service under FERPA, OrderlyClass uses education records only for the authorized educational purpose, remains under the school’s direction regarding those records, and does not redisclose them except as authorized by the school, a district agreement, or law.

When COPPA applies and a school provides consent as a parent’s agent, collection is limited to the use and benefit of the school and not for an unrelated commercial purpose. Direct child registration will not be enabled without an approved school or parental authorization process and the required notice.

Security

OrderlyClass uses role-based access, protected password storage, HTTPS, session controls, audit records, restricted administrative tools, database safeguards, and verified recovery backups. Access is limited according to role, organization, campus, course, and educational need.

No system can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect their credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to their school and to OrderlyClass at support@orderlyclass.com.

Retention, export, and deletion

School records are retained for the district-selected instructional or operational period, applicable legal obligations, and the documented requirements of the enabled feature. Optional sensitive information should be reviewed regularly and removed when its approved educational need ends.

After service ends, an authorized school or district may request an export for 30 days. After that period, OrderlyClass may delete active school data unless a district agreement, legal hold, or applicable law requires otherwise. Protected backup copies expire through the documented backup-retention cycle and are not restored for ordinary product use after deletion.

Access, correction, and privacy requests

Students and parents should normally begin with their school or district, which can verify identity and direct access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion requests. Authorized district representatives may contact support@orderlyclass.com.

Requests sent directly to OrderlyClass may be referred to the applicable school or district. Do not send sensitive student records through ordinary email; begin with a request that identifies the school and the type of assistance needed.

Changes and contact

Material changes will ordinarily receive at least 30 days’ notice by email, in-app notice, or district communication. A change required by law or necessary to address an urgent security issue may take effect sooner, with notice when reasonably possible. Prior versions will be preserved in the legal archive.

Privacy, legal, security, accessibility, and support inquiries may be sent to support@orderlyclass.com or mailed to Orderly Class LLC, 4846 Old Windthorst Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
